The meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Yury Ovsiyuk and the delegation of the National Bureau of Expertises of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia headed by the Director of the Bureau Argam Hovsepyan was held.

At present, a solid legal base of bilateral relations has been established between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia, over 75 interstate, intergovernmental and interagency agreements have been signed. The State Committee has been interacting with the experts of the National Bureau of Expertises of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia for more than 9 years – the Agreement on cooperation was signed in 2014.
During the visit the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Yury Ovsiyuk and the Director of the Bureau Argam Hovsepyan discussed the development of cooperation in the field of forensic examination in such areas as the coordination of scientific work on the problems of forensic expert activity, joint development of methods and techniques, data exchange in the field of information and reference activity, joint seminars, courses for learning of new methods and techniques, training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of forensic expert activity, exchange of specialists for internships, providing scientific, methodological and practical assistance to each other in issues of scientific and expert activity, as well as other interaction that meets the goals of developing cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity.
While visiting the State Committee, representatives of the Armenian delegation got acquainted with the work of expert laboratories and highly evaluated their equipment and professionalism of Belarussian experts. The delegation also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
