The delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of India visited the State Forensic Examination Committee 27 april 2023

The meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee Alexey Aleshkevich and the delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of India headed by the Director of the Directorate of Forensic Science Services of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of India Doctor Sanjay Kumar Jain was held today.

Earlier, in November 2022, the delegation of the State Committee visited the Republic of India within the framework of the business forum, where working meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of India were also held. The outcome of the meetings was the achievement of preliminary agreements on further areas of cooperation, including the visit of Indian colleagues to the State Committee.

During today’s meeting, Indian guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of various laboratories, including the laboratories of drug and psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues, petroleum products examinations, forensic examination of materials, substances and items, as well as laboratory of ballistic examination of the Central Office of the State Committee.

The visit took place within the framework of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Examination: Theory and Practice in the Modern World” held in the State Committee. It has become another step towards strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation between experts from both countries.
