The opening of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Examination: Theory and Practice in the Modern World” took place in the State Forensic Examination Committee 26 april 2023

The opening of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Forensic Examination: Theory and Practice in the Modern World”, which will be held from 26 to 28 April, took place today.


Representatives of the Azerbaijan, Armenia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam take part in the work of the Conference.







“Forensic science is a constantly and dynamically developing area. It must be flexible and respond immediately to any changes in our life. In conditions of globalization, new ways and means of committing criminal acts are emerging. It is possible to effectively counter these things by joining our efforts. That’s why a forensic expert needs to keep abreast of world events connected with his profession, be aware of the latest scientific developments and constantly cooperate with foreign colleagues. The State Committee is always open for long-term fruitful cooperation, mutual exchange of research results, knowledge and opinions”, – the Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee Alexey Volkov noted in his welcoming speech.
Alexey Volkov read out a welcoming speech on behalf of the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Volfovich addressed to the participants of the Conference: “Today’s event is important in the context of coordinating approaches to the implementation of forensic expert activities, as well as exchanging practical experience in the implementation of a unified state policy in this area. Today the Committee takes a significant place in the system of ensuring the national security of the Republic of Belarus and makes an essential contribution to the protection of the rights of citizens and the national interests of the country”.
During the plenary session of the Conference, a discussion of new approaches to the development of the National Security Concept with the participation of the Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Alexey Bankovsky took place. The participants of the event paid special attention to global geopolitical tension, discussed the current state of national security, as well as new challenges and threats.

Further breakout sessions will be attended by specialists working in the field of criminalistics, forensic medicine and by researchers. Experts will exchange their accumulated experience in organizing and conducting researches in the field of forensic medical, forensic technical and other types of examinations.





The holding of such events contributes to the effective protection of the citizens’ rights and national interests.
