Within the framework of the Conference, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Yury Ovsiyuk held bilateral meetings with Chinese delegations headed by the Deputy Head of the Bureau of Public Legal Services Administration of the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China Sun Chunying and headed by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Forensic Science of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China Ye Jian.

The Chinese delegations were acquainted with the activity of the State Committee, its aims and objectives, the instrument base and also visited the laboratories of the genotyposcopic research department.



Issues of development and further strengthening of established cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of forensic expert activity were discussed at the meetings. The greatest interest of the delegations was caused by the organizational and legal aspects of activity of the unified expert body of Belarus.
Also during the meeting with the representatives of the delegation of the Institute of Forensic Science of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, Ye Jian was awarded a Badge of Merit “For interaction”.

At the end of the meeting the representatives of Chinese delegations invited Belarusian colleagues to pay a return visit to Beijing.
