The State Forensic Examination Committee pays special attention to improving the quality of expert activity, as well as the introduction of new modern methods of expert research.
The next step to increase the level of expert training in the field of forensic psychological examination was the training seminar “Psychological technologies of constructive interaction with juvenile victims of sexual assault. Psychology of victim behavior” conducted on June 7. Specialists from the Russian Federation the professor Psy.D. Ekaterina Vaske and Anna Plakhina, as well as forensic experts from the Central Office and territorial bodies of the State Committee specializing in conducting forensic psychological examinations took an active part in the seminar.
The theoretical, methodological and procedural aspects of the use of special psychological knowledge in conducting examinations and participating in legal proceedings in cases connected with sexual assaults of juvenile victims were considered in detail by invited specialists.
During the seminar forensic experts have learnt modern methods and techniques of communicative interaction with juvenile victims excluding receiving distorted information from them about legally significant circumstances, the valuable practical recommendations for conducting psychodiagnostic and expert research were received.
The speakers answered questions of an organizational and methodological nature that arose among the participants during the discussions.
At the end of the training seminar the participants exchanged views on the topics discussed.
Forensic experts will be able to successfully and at the highest level apply in practice the knowledge gained during the seminar.
