The representatives of the State Forensic Examination Committee took part in the Scientific and Practical Conference ”Methods of Forensic Genetics 2023“ dedicated to the modern issues of molecular genetic identification.

The event was organized by the research and production company ”Gordiz“ with the support of the Skolkovo Innovation Fund (Moscow, the Russian Federation). Representatives of expert departments of various agencies and independent expert centers of the Russian Federation also took part in the Conference.

The report of the state forensic expert of the Department of Genetic Examinations of the Directorate of Forensic Biological Examinations of the General Directorate of Forensic Medical Examinations of the Central Office of the State Forensic Examination Committee Elena Shilo aroused genuine interest among the participants of the Conference.

The production of reagent kits for molecular genetic identification of the individual was demonstrated by the organizers.

Participation in the Conference allowed the exchange of practical experience, theoretical knowledge and methodological approaches to solving urgent problems of expert activity in the field of forensic genetics.
