Today, on October 24, the meeting of experts of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization took place in the online conference mode.

The online meeting was devoted to the issues of conducting examinations on medical malpractice cases. The Belarusian and Iranian colleagues discussed a number of the most problematic issues that arise when conducting expert research on such cases, exchanged experience and talked about the existing features for their countries. During discussion the topics of determining the effect of stress on death and approaches for examining cases of occupational diseases and injuries caused by work accidents were raised.

Such meetings with Iranian colleagues in the online conference mode have been held since 2020 as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization in the field of forensic activity signed in November 2019. Currently, three more meetings in a similar format are planned between Belarusian and Iranian experts.
